The Robert Burns Humanitarians

Information on the current and previous winners.

Since its formation in 2002, the Robert Burns Humanitarian Award has recognised the dedication, celebrated the selflessness and paid tribute to the sacrifice of each recipient of the award - all exceptional people with incredible stories to tell.

The 2025 winner of the Robert Burns Humanitarian Award is Garth Knox.  On receiving the 2025 RBHA title, Garth said "I am elated to have the spotlight shine on the many, many people, the world over, who make the world a better place through daily acts of kindness and compassion. Such is the currency of volunteerism. On a personal level, I am both humbled and filled with gratitude for this recognition. I'm still in shock!"
