Our Customer Service Team can help you to access information and provide assistance and advice on a wide range of council services.

Our advisors are available 09.00 - 16.45 Monday to Thursday and 09.00 to 16.00 on Fridays and can be contacted in a range of ways:

British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us direct by using Contact Scotland BSL.

If you are calling within the UK calls will be charged at the local call rate. If you have a mobile phone contract, calls may be part of your inclusive minutes, if you are unsure you should check with your own telephone provider before calling. Customers calling from abroad may be charged at premium rate and should check with their own telephone providers before calling. If you are experiencing issues calling the 0300 123 0900 number from abroad please email customerservices@south-ayrshire.gov.uk who will provide you with an alternative number to call. Please note the alternative number will still be subject to your providers international call rates.

If you can't manage your enquiry online or by phone, you can arrange a face-to-face appointment from each of the following locations:

  • Ayr - The Wallace Tower, 172-176 High Street.  Available Tuesday to Friday.
  • Troon - The Library - South Beach.  Available on Tuesdays.
  • Prestwick - 2-6 The Cross.  Available on Wednesdays. 
  • Girvan - Carrick Opportunities Centre, Henrietta Street.  Available on Thursdays. 
  • Maybole - The Library, High Street.  Available on Fridays.
