The Dolphin House Family Outdoor Learning Day

Children should be in P4 (2022-23 school year) and above - and must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets

Tickets for adults and children are priced at £10 each. As children must be accompanied by an adult, at least 2 tickets (one child, one adult) must be purchased at the time of booking (£20 total)

Up to 5 tickets can be booked at one time. Tickets include transport and lunch at Dolphin House.

The Venue

Dolphin House has been offering memorable residential visits for over 20 years. Our programmes give young people the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills through taking part in outdoor activities. Our stunning location within Culzean Castle and Country Park is the perfect location to explore the great outdoors and combined with our have a highly skilled and experienced team ensures your child make the most of their visit. We foster awareness, understanding and respect for the natural environment while promoting the concepts of exploration and sustainability.

Transport

Transport from agreed pickup points is included in the ticket price. There will be a pickup point from Ayr and potentially additional pickup points to reflect where participants are travelling from. This however will not be a door-to-door service.

Lunch

Lunch is provided at Dolphin House and is included in the ticket price. Please advise of any dietary requirements / allergies when making your booking.

Clothing & Equipment

Participants should wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and activity. Layered clothing is best for the conditions - ideally a quick drying base.

Wet weather kit and all specific activity equipment will be provided.

Medical Consent Form

A medical consent form is required for each participant and should be completed ahead of the activity.
