Former Ayr Station Hotel - Update

Safety works will begin today by our contractor Caskie to remove loose materials from the fire damaged tower and roofline.

Network Rail have carried out the first drone inspection of the former Station Hotel Building. We expect to see this footage later today and this will help us to determine our next steps.  

The scaffolding contractor, Zenith, will also be sending in a drone so they can inspect the damage to their scaffolding.  

Station Bridge Road remains closed.
