Please note: Public Access will be unavailable between 9am on Thursday 16^th  April 2026 and 7pm on Friday 17^th  April 2026. The Planning & Building Standards online registers and map search facility will therefore not be available during this time. Members of the public will not be able to view or comment on Planning Applications during the downtime.

Building Warrant Fee Increases 2026

Please Note: Building warrant fees will increase from 1 April 2026 following a Scottish Government Public Consultation in 2023. Fees are being increased to support the changes being introduced to strengthen the building standards system through the work of the Futures Board programme. The new fee levels as per The Building (Fees)(Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2026 can be found on  The Building (Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2026
