During The International Ayr Show Festival of Flight, on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 Sept 2024 vehicles left in restricted areas may have been towed. If you think your vehicle has been towed, please follow the steps below to retrieve it:
Confirm Your Vehicle Has Been Towed
If you suspect your car has been towed, please contact Police Scotland on 101 to confirm this.
During the event, the towing company will work with traffic attendants from Ayrshire Roads Alliance and Police Scotland to identify any illegally parked vehicles. Police Scotland will hold a list of all towed vehicles on the day.
Please pay your £200 to release your vehicle
Pay the £200 fine to allow you to retrieve your vehicle.

Towed vehicles will be held at Ayr Racecourse on Whitletts Road. Please use the Walker Road entrance near McDonalds, KA8 0JE
The facility will be open as follows:
Friday 6 Sept: 4pm - 11pm
Saturday 7 Sept: 12 noon - 10pm
Sunday: 9 am -12 noon
Cars will only be held for 14 days, to gain access at a later date please email: ayrshowparking@south-ayrshire.gov.uk
To retrieve your vehicle, please have ready:
- Your vehicle’s license plate number
- Valid ID: A government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport)
- Proof of Payment: A copy of the email/screenshot of payment
