The facility contains an 8-lane track with polymeric surface. Provision for field events include two long jump run ups and pits, one high jump run up and landing area, shot put circle two javelin run ups and a cage for throwing events. In addition to athletic events, the field accommodates prestigious football matches.
The pavilion comprises five changing rooms, two toilet and shower blocks for competitors, two storerooms, entrance foyer and general-purpose area. The pavilion also contains a stand with pod seating for 478 spectators and a press box.
This facility is mainly used for athletics coaching and football events. However a vast range of outdoor activities can be accommodated. Music festivals, fire safety events and dog trials have taken place in the past (subject to appropriate licenses).
