Crisis Grant

If you are in financial crisis and you have no money available to meet your living costs you should apply for a Scottish Welfare Fund crisis grant.

This grant does not have to be re-paid.

If you cannot claim online you should call 0300 123 0900 to speak to a customer service advisor and ask for a crisis grant. Calls are charged at the local landline rate and should be included in any free minutes from a mobile phone, you may wish to check with your network provider prior to making a call.

Community Care Grant

A Community Care Grant aims to help people who

• may have to go into care unless they get some support to enable them to stay at home.
• are leaving any form of care such as a hospital, prison or care home and require help to set up their own home

A Community Care Grant can also help households facing exceptional pressure by providing white goods or clothing.
