Diamond wedding celebrations for Charles and Anna

Charles and Anna Gillies celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary recently.

They are both originally from the town of Paisley. The couple first met at the Silver Lounge Café in Paisley where Anna was a part time waitress, Charles was attending night school nearby. They were married at Glenburn Church in Paisley.

They have lived in South Ayrshire for 27 years and currently reside in Mossblown. They have two children and six grandchildren.

South Ayrshire Provost, Helen Moonie sent congratulations to the couple and a card and flowers were also delivered.
