Petanque Championships in Troon

Provost Iain Campbell was in Troon recently for the Home Nations Petanque Championships 2022! The competition which took place at Marr Rugby Club, saw competitors from across the country aim steel balls known as boules, at a small wooden target ball. Provost Campbell gave the game a try, much to the delight of the crowd, who had turned up in their numbers to enjoy the competition.
