South Ayrshire Futures event

Thanks to everyone who attended our South Ayrshire Futures event at Ayr Racecourse!

Around 800 people turned up to this amazing event, where pupils from across all eight South Ayrshire secondary schools met with employers, organisations, and universities to learn about future education and job opportunities.

The aerospace, engineering, technology, hospitality, construction, and travel industries were amongst many of the employment sectors represented, and South Ayrshire Council's teams from Thriving Communities, Active Schools and our Health and Social Care Partnership were also present on the night.

The University of the West of Scotland, Caledonian University, The University of Strathclyde, and Ayrshire College all had representatives come along to discuss future paths with South Ayrshire's young people.
