Provost presents Auld Alliance Jug

Provost Iain Campbell attended the first ever prizegiving of the Auld Alliance Jug on Sunday 30 April.

Richard Bowmaker, captain of the St Germain en Laye golf team collected the prize after a competition with golfers from Ayr.

Ayr and St Germain en Laye have been involved in a town twinning partnership since 1984, but this is the first official golf competition between the towns.

Congratulations to the winners and to everyone that took part!
