South Ayrshire Council's Provost, Iain Campbell and Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick attended a variety of engagements to mark the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
A civic engagement was held in Ayr Town Hall with Mr Arnaud Pericard, Mayor of St Germaine en Laye in France, on Sunday 7 May. Ayr is part of a town twinning partnership with St Germain en Laye, and a close friendship is maintained between the two towns.
Provost Campbell and Depute Provost Kilpatrick then attended a service at the Auld Kirk in Ayr, followed by a Coronation street party in Carrick Park, Ayr.
On Tuesday 9 May, Provost Campbell also helped plant a tree in Rozelle Park to mark the Coronation.
