Golf Pro-Am at Belleisle is back!

The format on the day will see a team of three amateurs paired with one of Scotland's leading PGA Professionals to play Belleisle's 18 holes, with the best two Stableford scores per hole recorded.

The entry fee per team is £350, which includes a breakfast roll and hot drink on arrival, and a two course meal after the golf. Hole sponsorship is also included for companies entering a team, with their logo displayed at that particular hole. There will also be a short prize-giving following dinner.

All proceeds from the event will go to South Ayrshire Council's charity partner Beautiful Inside & Out, who provide face to face support for bereaved parents and siblings of suicide victims, as well as those struggling for any reason. The charity promotes feelings of self-worth and offers a Facebook support group and connect with those who have been bereaved by suicide.

Until 2018, Belleisle Golf Course was the chosen home of The Parkdean Pro-Am, which was one of Scotland's longest running Pro-Am Competitions, held annually for a total of 31 years. During this time, a total of £440,000 was raised for the Ayrshire Hospice.

South Ayrshire Council Portfolio Holder for Sport and Leisure, Councillor Brian Connolly said:

It's guaranteed to be a superb event and I would encourage golfers of all handicaps to enter to enjoy a day of competition, fun and hospitality, as well as raising money for a very worthwhile local charity."
