PlanesTV to set up camp at new air show

Airshow Planes TV

South Ayrshire Council has confirmed that PlanesTV will attend The International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.

PlanesTV is a UK-based production company that specialises in aviation.  The PlanesTV team cover air shows all over the world and are expert in live broadcasting aviation events. Over the last three decades, the company has recorded thousands of hours of high-quality aviation video footage, featuring over 300 aircraft types.

The air show, which will take place at Ayr shore front next week, will see a range of dazzling aerial displays take to our skies.  PlanesTV will be there to capture every piece of the action and deliver the shots that we all want to see!

The team will broadcast all of the flying action from the airshow on YouTube, so you'll be able to watch live, or catch up later on their channel youtube.com/planestv.

PlanesTV Managing Director, Iain Campbell said: "It's been seven years since we covered an air show in Scotland and I'm extremely excited to be coming to Ayr. The scenery makes for a stunning backdrop and with a first-class flying display planned, it promises to back an action-packed live broadcast."

South Ayrshire Council's Director of Strategic Change and Communities, Jane Bradley, said: "It'll be fantastic to have PlanesTV on site at the new air show.  With their year of experience and specialist equipment, the team will be sure to capture some brilliant footage of our aerial displays that we can all look back on and enjoy for many years to come."
