Important update about planned industrial action - Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September

GMB Scotland have confirmed they have suspended their planned strike action on Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September 2023.

As a result, Wallacetown, Cherry Tree and Space Place Early Years Centres (EYCs) will now be open on the above dates.

All South Ayrshire Primary and Secondary schools, along with Invergarven School and Southcraig Campus, will remain closed. This is because UNISON has confirmed its intention to maintain the strike action.

All schools will re-open as normal on Friday 29 September, and if there are any further changes to arrangements we will provide an update as soon as new information is available.
