Former Station Hotel building - Safety Works Update

As you can see in this photo, the top of the encapsulation has now been fully removed. This will allow the contractor to progress with works inside the building.  

Station Bridge Road remains closed to pedestrians and traffic. The closure will be in place until the safety works have been completed at the southern gable end of the building. We expect that the bridge will reopen around Wednesday 10 January, timescales are being kept under constant review. There are many factors which can affect the safety work, including the weather.
