Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited confirmed as key sponsor for Council's 2024 air show

South Ayrshire Council is delighted to welcome back Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited as a key sponsor for this year's International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.

The construction company, which has an office in Prestwick, was a major sponsor for the hugely popular 2023 air show event, which saw 240,000 people flock to Ayr to enjoy impressive aerial displays, great family entertainment and activities.

The success of last September's event has seen Ashleigh grab the opportunity to be at the forefront of the much-anticipated 2024 festival.

South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Tourism, Culture and Rural Affairs, Councillor Alec Clark said: "Sponsorship is vital to the success of the air show, so it's great to welcome back Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited as a key sponsor for this year's festival.  It's wonderful that the success of the 2023 event has drawn Ashleigh back and I'll look forward to working with them to deliver another spectacular event."

South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Sport and Leisure, Councillor Brian Connolly, said: "The air show is a fantastic platform for businesses to reach a wide and diverse audience.  Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited have clearly recognised this opportunity and it's great to see them champion the event by becoming a key sponsor for the second year running."

Leader of South Ayrshire Council, Councillor Martin Dowey, said: "I'm delighted that Ashleigh have chosen to come on board as a key sponsor for the 2024 air show.  We're ready to build on the success of the 2023 festival and it's great to have this local company by our side once more as we pull out all the stops to bring another amazing event to the area."
