Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr

Citadel Leisure Centre is our largest venue situated in the seaside town of Ayr.  Situated just off the Esplanade, we are easily accessed if travelling by car (on site parking available), bus or foot.  

Swim in one of our three pools, our Main Pool is a 25m 6 lane pool.  We also have a shallow Teaching Pool and a Flexi Pool with diving boards and moveable floor.  Adjacent to the main pool is a large, communal changing village including lockers (50 pence coin required), cubicles, toilets, showers and separate accessible changing spaces.  

If swimming isn't your thing, our Gym is your ultimate destination for an inclusive fitness regime. The state-of-the-art gym, equipped with the latest cardio and strength training equipment, provides an efficient and engaging workout. The dedicated free weights area allows you to focus on strength training at your own pace. With over 90 Fitness Classes each week, we cater to a variety of fitness preferences.

We run a popular Learn2 Swim programme in the Citadel, and host activities such as badminton, squash and indoor football.
