Timeline of community engagement:
- October 2021 to December 2021 - public consultation with the Ballantrae community using the Place Standard Tool recommended by the Scottish Government.
- June 2022 - Ballantrae and Lendalfoot engagement outcomes paper was published.
- A small steering group drawn from the Ballantrae Planning Group which represents The Community Council, The Community Association, The Ballantrae Trust, Ballantrae Parish Church, and local businesses was responsible to develop the 2024 - 2029 Community Action Plan.
Present:
- The Ballantrae Trust commissioned an independent company for the development of a community action plan. Funds to develop the community action plan were sourced from ARIA, the Ayrshire Rural and Islands Ambition, and the Scottish Government.
