Ayrshire College to sponsor the 2024 airshow!

South Ayrshire Council is delighted to welcome Ayrshire College as a sponsor of the 2024 International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.

This is the second year running the College has offered its support to the event.

With three bases across Ayrshire, in Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning, Ayrshire College prides itself on being an inspirational place of learning.  The College supports individuals, businesses and communities to access skills, expertise and innovation.

South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Tourism, Culture and Rural Affairs, Councillor Alec Clark said: "It's fantastic to see Ayrshire College return as a sponsor for this year's airshow. The College help to inspire people from all walks of life to learn and invest in themselves, which is something we are also keen to promote via the airshow festival, with a particular focus on STEM." 

South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Sport and Leisure, Councillor Brian Connolly, said: "There's a real focus on learning around the airshow with STEM at the very heart of the event.  As a sponsor, the College's offering of courses for students who are looking to progress a career in the aerospace industry further supports this."
