100th Birthday Celebrations for Maria

Congratulations to Maria Beattie who is celebrating her 100th birthday! Maria is originally from Austria, and has lived in Ayr since moving to Scotland after the Second World War. During the war, she worked various jobs to help with the war effort and was a seamstress . Maria has one daughter, three step-sons and one granddaughter.

South Ayrshire Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited Maria to present her with a bouquet of flowers and congratulate her on the milestone birthday.
