Pop-up gym to open in Whitletts

South Ayrshire Council is set to open a pop-up gym at Whitletts Activity Centre in Ayr.

The gym, which is set to open on Monday 30 September, will be available to anyone with a current Council Sport and Leisure membership. New customers can also take advantage of the pop-up gym through a new custom membership, costing just £15 per month.

Gym equipment from Prestwick Leisure Club will be relocated to Whitletts and will be available until the Prestwick facility reopens in the spring of 2025 following its refurbishment

Councillor Brian Connolly, Sport and Leisure Portfolio Holder for South Ayrshire Council said: "There's some fantastic gym equipment at Prestwick Leisure Club, so I'm delighted that it's going to be located at Whitletts Activity Centre until the spring of next year. Everything from treadmills to cross trainers will be available and with a custom gym membership available at just £15 a month, it's a great time to get active."
