Remembering our loved ones at Christmas

South Ayrshire Council warmly invites you to a Christmas Candlelight Service at Masonhill Crematorium on Sunday 15 December at 3:30pm.

Our uplifting service can help those who are facing the festive season without a loved one for the first time.

The service will feature heartfelt songs, traditional Christmas carols, readings and prayers. 

Led by Reverand John McCutcheon and Celebrant Drew Brady, it will conclude with a chance to gather together with others over hot, spiced non-alcoholic punch and delicious mince pies. 

Councillor Marin Kilbride, South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Buildings, Housing and Environment, said: "The festive season can feel especially challenging for those mourning the loss of a loved one.  The Christmas Candlelight Service is open to everyone and offers an opportunity to reflect and remember.  Whether you attend alone or with others, you will be warmly welcomed."
