100th Birthday Celebrations for Margaret

Congratulations to Margaret McMillan who celebrated her 100^th birthday on 4 April 2025.

Margaret was part of the Women's Land Army and worked at Ladykirk Ammunitions near Hansel. Margaret loves to tell stories, especially of her contributions during the war and her efforts abroad.

Margaret, who is from Monkton, celebrated her special day at South Lodge Care Home with her daughter Alison, son-in-law Hugh, two granddaughters and her beloved great-granddaughter Annie.

South Ayrshire Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited Margaret to present her with a bouquet of flowers and congratulate her on the milestone birthday.
