Short-term Let Licensing Policy Review

South Ayrshire Council is starting the process of reviewing its Short-term Let licensing policy.  The policy sets out how the licensing authority considers and determines applications for short-term let licenses.  The policy also details the expectations the authority has of licence holders in operating their premises.

South Ayrshire Council is looking for your views on what works well, what could be improved or what you would like to see included in the updated policy.  There are some areas of particular interest where we would like to hear opinions including temporary licenses and temporary exemptions as well as an updated fee structure, but welcome comments on all aspects of the current policy.

Results of the consultation will be considered, with any feasible amendments presented to Councillors for approval of the reviewed policy.
