Child performance licence

The opportunity to perform can benefit children and young people.

There is, however the potential for children and young people participating in performances to encounter risks both in terms of their immediate safety and their longer term well-being.

New regulations have been introduced for licensing the participation of children and young people in performances and specified sporting and modelling activities.

Further information and guidance relating to these new regulations are available from the Scottish Government website.
