South Ayrshire Council have today (Wednesday 1 March) agreed a budget which balances the books and invests in key areas such as tourism and the local economy.

At today's Council meeting, Councillors approved budget that will see The International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight come to Ayr's Low Green from 8 - 10 September this year. Wednesday 1 March.

The purpose of this new role is to provide strategic and political leadership to council officers as they work on a range of creative plans to help develop the local area. Wednesday 1 March.

Widely regarded as the world's best formation aerobatic display team, The Red Arrows will take to the skies above Ayr's shoreline to perform a breath-taking aerial sequence.

Also set to stir up a storm at the event is the Royal Air Force's operational-proven multi-role fighter, the Typhoon.

The public engagement is set to begin in mid-March and will last until June. 02 March 2023.
